On the evening of July 24, 2022 Hunan Youth Campus Football Tournament for junior high students came to a perfect end. In the four days, 28 teams from 14 cities competed in 35 matches. In the end, Changsha and Xiangtan won the first prize in Men’s Group A; Men’s Group B team Hengyang and team Zhuzhou won the first prize and successfully promoted to Group A; Changsha and Zhuzhou won the first prize in Women’s Group A; Women’s Group B team Chenzhou and team Changde won the first prize and successfully promoted to Group A.

There is a period of hardship behind every success and every moment of endeavor is filled with dreams and sweat. It is understood that schools of all levels and types in Hengyang have sent an array of athletes to clubs and universities in recent years. Among them, Mao Xiangheng, Shuai Junzhe and Wang Yanshu were selected by the youth echelon of level A Spain Football Club and have been training in Spain; Liu Jie, Lei Yumeng and Zhou Ang were selected by Guangzhou Evergrande Football Club; 16 players were chosen for the echelon of other Chinese Super League Clubs and more than 100 football students were admitted to universities at all levels.
