The woodland takes up 674,502.31 hectares, about 44.078% of the total area , in which the common woodland covers 56,413.97 hectares, shrubbery 25,134.23 hectares, Immature forest 54，374.43 hectares ，Slash 2，748.39 hectares ，nursery 189.59 hectares. Grassland covers about 26.09 hectares, in which improved grassland takes up 0.08 hectares, cultivated pasture about 4.94 hectares. Urban and industrial land covers an area of  104,772.11 hectares, about 6.846% of the total area, in which the city itself takes up 4,056.10 hectares, the surrounding town  4,040.24, the affiliated villages 84,332.43 hectares, the independent mining land 7499.06 hectares，and Special land 4,844.28 hectares. The land used to construct transportation facilities covers an area of 14,706.17 hectares, about 0.961% of the total area, including railway 1194.21 hectares, road 4483.97 hectares, country road 9018.54, civil airport  8.59 hectares, and port terminal 1.05 hectares. Water area is about 130,336.07 hectares in total, about 8.517% of the total area, including the river 28,768.46 hectares, reservoir  11,391.37 hectares, pond 62,399.15 hectares, reed land 12.9 hectares, shoals 9,159.89 hectares, ditch 16,781.34 hectares，and buildings over water 1,822.96 hectares. Unexploited land covers 200,446.08 hectares, about 13.9% of the total area ,including wild grass ground 79,566.89 hectares, bog 84.22 hectares, bare rock fertile land 22,538.73 hectares, the sand 86.79 hectares, bare land 16,496.55hectaress, raised path through fields 79758.31 hectares，and other kinds of unused land 1914.59 hectares.
