On September 14th, Hou Mingxing, the Hengyang City Secretary of the Party Committee and director of Municipal Agricultural Machinery Bureau in Hengyang, went to Jiu Feng village, Hengyang Country together with a group of bureau staff. They talked with members of Party branch committee and the village committee, the representatives of villagers and the poor families about the work of targeted poverty alleviation, which built a solid foundation for further development of agricultural technology training, technology promotion, entrepreneurial guidance.
　      

  They communicated with the poor households face to face and heart to heart, Hou pointed out that policies alleviate poverty, yourself shakes off poverty. In targeted poverty alleviation, works should be done in the following three aspects: Firstly, under the premise of maintaining local ecosystem, making full use of local bamboo resources to develop featured industries, and developing bamboo products and under-forestry economy according to local conditions. Secondly, strengthening the construction of infrastructures, including rural irrigation and water conservancy, construction of both village road and environment, improves production and living conditions; Thirdly, strengthening the technical training of the villagers, change the mode of agricultural production. Take financial support, preferential policy and other means, in accordance with the principle of "applicable, practical and effective", focus on agricultural machinery technology,  imposed on poor farmers some skill training, such as tractor driver training, which aims to make farmers master at least 1-2 agricultural machinery operation skill, upgrading their skills. Instruct 1 or 2 households with large agricultural machinery, in order to promote the development of local economy.
　     

  Municipal Bureau Agriculture provided 50,000 yuan from the office expenses for technical training in this village. According to the method of local agricultural production, Bureau has compiled a Training Data Compilation and distributed to farmers freely, which promoted the poor households' abilities of working skills and self-entrepreneurship. At the same time, the process of agricultural mechanization of the village was accelerated.
