From: | Date Add in:2016-04-19 01:37:19 [A  A]

On the morning, April 1, Chen Jing, the deputy mayor of Hengyang , led heads of related departments go to Hengnan County to do targeted supervision of poverty alleviation and relocation to gain deeper insight of grassroots experiences and existing problems and do bidding effort of the 13th five-year plan.

He conducted a comprehensive targeted supervision of confirmation of relocating households and implementation of project through consulting accounts and materials, random visiting of low-income families and checking out the project site. It is understood that Hengnan County has approved 1999 households, which totals 6907 people, for poverty alleviation and relocation. Among them, 541 people need to be relocated in 2016. All the work moves in order.

Followed by the debriefing, Chen Jing extended a full affirmation of the first-stage work of poverty alleviation and relocation in Hengnan County. He pointed out  Hengnan County Party Committee and Government attaches great importance to poverty alleviation and relocation, which is indicated by strict regulation, thorough inspection, sound organization system and strong supporting measures.

He also addressed that poverty alleviation and relocation featuring strong policy enforcement, a wide range and complicated processing,  is not only the opener but also the most daunting task among a batch of five poverty alleviation projects. Departments at all levels should grasp thorough understanding of the policy and hold a down-to-earth attitude to confirm relocating households to make sure that no one will be left behind. Investment regulation should also be strengthened, a standard and precise supervision system be built, specialized management be achieved, a proper resettlement mode be chosen in line with local conditions and housing be built strictly in accordance with relevant standards.
