Hengyang Valin Steel Tube Co. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hengsteel) is a subsidiary of Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. It is one of the large-scale seamless steel tube & pipe manufacturers in the world and the second biggest seamless steel tube & pipe producer in China. It was founded in 1958 and now has 6000 employees, among which more than 2000 professional engineers, with total assets of RMB 12.3 billion. In 2012 it has achieved an annual sales income of RMB 8 Billion with its annual iron output at Eight hundred seventy thousand tons, steel output of One million two hundred fifty thousand tons and pipe/tube output of One million one hundred fifteen thousand tons.

It has six steel tube production lines named as ∮50 Plant, ∮89 Plant, ∮180 Plant, ∮ 219 Plant , ∮ 340 Plant and ∮720 Plant , two tube processing lines ,three sets of round billet production systems with large, middle and small sizes and one 1080m3 blaster. It has an annual capacity of iron at 900,000 tons, steel at 1,500,000 tons, tube at 2,000,000 tons and tube processing capacity at 1,000,000 tons, and owns the most complete mills, advanced rolling equipments and full product sizes. Among them ∮89 Plant ∮180 Plant and∮340 Plant are MPM Rolling Mill and ∮720 Plant is Hot Pilger Mill with the largest OD. Hengsteel is the first enterprise to run its own industrial garden in Hunan province and its tube processing industry garden is now regarded as a new-type industrialization demonstration base.

     Hengsteel is able to produce various kinds and sizes of hot-rolled and cold-drawn seamless steel tubes & pipes with O.D below 720mm. It has secured four major management certificates such as ISO9001, ISO14001 OSHMS and ISO10012. It has achieved several international product quality certifications such as API, PED and recognition of multinational ships with seamless steel tubes as TüV ü and Lloyd’s.   Geographical Location of Hengyang 

　Hengyang is a well known city with more than 2000 years history, it is located to the south of the Mountain Hengshan which is the mountain with most elegant view among the top five famous mountains in China.

    Hengyang has been a very important city connecting Southern China with Northern China, Guangdong with Guangxi provinces since long ago, it has a developed communication system, the rail ways from Beijing to Guangzhou ,from Hunan to Guangxi provinces are meet here, the high ways from Beijing to Zhuhai, No.107 nation road, No.322 nation road and the road connecting Hunan, Jiangxi, Fujian provinces pass through the entire city. 

　At the time when Xiang river ship way is ready, thousand tons cargoes are able to reach the Yangtse river directly from Hengyang. 

　Hengyang airport is being planning to construct, Hengyang is 200 Km away from Changsha Huanghua international airport. There are direct flights connecting changsha to other main cities in China, as well as Hongkong, Macau and Bankok.
