Recently, Central South University National Technology Transference Center Hengyang Center has been officially signed and set. The vice-president of Central South University and the counselor of Hengyang Municipal Government Chen Xinwen, on behalf of the university and the city respectively, signed Founding Central South University National Technology Transference Center Hengyang Center Protocol.

   Central South University National Technology Transference Center Hengyang Center is the major cooperation platform for the technological cooperation between Hengyang Municipal Government and Central South University, and the base for the transference of the key technology and research results of Central South University. The goal of the center is to accelerate technological transference, to promote the application of the advanced technology, to upgrade the traditional industries to fasten the development of high-technology industries, to optimize and modify industrial structure, to push the combination of the technology, personnel and information and other resources from universities and scientific research institutions and key industries and key enterprises, to develop and apply technology together, to promote and complete the scientific technology center construction in enterprises and to promote the transference of the technology and scientific research results. 

   Before the protocol was signed, the counselor of Hengyang Municipal Government Chen Xinwen, the Chief of Municipal Technology Bureau Zou Zhihe, and the Chairman of the Labor Union of Municipal Technology Bureau Huang Changsheng went to Central South University to discuss with the administrators about the cooperation between the university and Hengyang City. The vice-president of Central South University, the chief of scientific research department Wu Houping, and the deputy chief of the department have taken part in the discussion. Both parties have fully discussed the details of the cooperation and reached many agreements on the transference and industrialization of the technological results, the construction of the technology transference center, the talent introduction and cultivation, the cooperation of scientific projects, the innovation and modification of the system and the financing and publicizing of enterprises and so on.

   The protocol indicated that the comprehensive cooperation between Central South University and Hengyang City on industrial technological communication has begun, to promote the transference of the scientific results. According to the protocol, Central South University would found a standing organization to bring the technological, talent and information advantages into full play with Central South University National Technology Transference Center Hengyang Center as the bridge. The center would positively carry out technological communication, industrial cooperation, technology transference, enterprises financing and publicizing and other business to push  industrial development in Hnegyang. On the part of Hengyang City, it would provide the center with favorable policies and adequate and systematic service. The founding of Central South University National Technology Transference Center Hengyang Center would definitely accelerate the economic development of Hengyang, upgrade the technological quality in this district, strengthen the capacity of independent innovation of enterprises, provide Hengyang technological and talent support to greatly promote the industrial development in Hengyang.
