On the afternoon of October 19, Liu Yuegao, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, met Tan Junwu, Vice General Manager of State Grid Hunan Electric Power Company and his party, who came for a visit. The two sides had in-depth exchanges of views on further strengthening cooperation in project construction and industrial upgrading, and have reached a consensus.

Liu Yuegao welcomed the arrival of Tan Junwu and his party. He said that Hengyang is a national regional key city and provincial sub-central city, which has a solid industrial foundation. In recent years, Hengyang has been developing rapidly in terms of high-quality development, and the demand for electricity has been growing fast. For a long time, the power system has fully supported Hengyang in terms of electricity consumption and circuit maintenance, which makes “electricity is available wherever it is needed” come true. Hengyang keeps the manufacturing industry as the foundation of the city, which is inseparable from the quality supply of electric power and the strong support of the power supply department. Hope that State Grid Hunan Electric Power Company will continue giving Hengyang greater support in the construction of electric power infrastructure projects, upgrading of urban and rural power grids, adjustment of preferential policies and development and utilization of new energy, etc., and provide more reliable electric power safeguard to promote Hengyang's high-quality development. Meanwhile, Hengyang will offer quality services and fully support the development of State Grid Hunan Electric Power Company for mutual benefits. 

Tan Junwu proclaimed Hengyang has good conditions and space for development, and State Grid Hunan Electric Power Company will take the initiative to offer services, speed up the construction of the power grid, invest more in electricity, push forward the implementation of cooperation projects in the field of new energy, ensure the safety and steady energy supply, and provide solid energy support for Hengyang to speed up the process of regional centralization.
