The Memorial Hall of Former Residence of Marshal Luo Ronghuan is located in the South Bay Street, South Bay Village, Ronghuan Town, Hengdong County in the prefecture of Hengyang. It is an important place in the Chinese famous tourist “golden channel” of “Nanyue Mount Hengshan---Mount Jinggang”. It is about 70 kilometers away from Nanyue Mount Hengshan, and only 3 kilometers away from the famous Xiyan Fairy Cave, known as the “The first beautiful scene of Southern Hunan”. The whole Memorial Hall consists of The Former Residence of Marshal Luo Ronghuan, The Square of Bronze Statue of Marshal Luo Ronghuan, The Achievement Exhibition Hall of Marshal Luo Ronghuan, and The Office of Marshal Luo Ronghuan. The Former Residence of Marshal Luo Ruan was built in 1914, with the total construction area of 540 square meter; The Achievement Exhibition Hall of Marshal Luo Ronghuan was built in 2002, with the total construction area of 1,200 square meter, consisting of five parts to exhibit the valuable pictures and historical document literature of Marshal Luo Ronghuan in his different living periods.
