Hengshan Mountain Scenic Area Makes New Admission Announcement

Recently, the Hengshan Mountain Core Scenic Area experienced a decrease in reception capacity due to freezing weather and snow. The scenic area made an announcement to ensure the safety of tourists and improve their travel experience. The new management policy would be in effect from December 18 to December 24.

1.  The tourist attraction has set a cap on the number of daily visitors, which is limited to 60 percent of its maximum capacity or a maximum of 15,000 people during rainy and snowy days. Visitors are not allowed to enter without making a reservation. Visitors or those who enjoy free entry are required to make a reservation via the WeChat mini-program "Nanyue One Code Pass [南岳一码游]".

2. The ticket check-in time has been adjusted to be between 8:00 and 14:00. Visitors are not allowed to enter during any other periods of time. The Zhurong Hall in Zhurong Peak suspends operations starting from 16:00 every day.

3. The sightseeing buses run along roads between the entrance and the hillside pavilion from 8:00 to 17:30. Visitors need to walk from the hillside pavilion to the mountaintop. 

4. Traffic restrictions are imposed in the scenic area. Vehicles excluding the designated scenic area vehicles and emergency rescue vehicles are banned from 15:00 to 19:00. Motorbikes are banned on the roads between the hillside pavilion and the mountaintop all day.

5. Please pay attention to the meteorological information in advance when entering the scenic area and take safety precautions. Please call the tourist service hotline at 0734-12345 for help.
