20 Safe Travel Tips for Coronavirus Prevention
From:Top China Travel | Date Add in:2022-07-15 10:09:49 [A  A]

Precautions before departure

1. Try to delay the travel time as much as possible. If you have fever symptoms, please watch this at home instead of going out violently.

If the fever is accompanied by one of the following three diseases, please go to the hospital in good time.

▪ dyspnea, obvious chest tightness and asthma;

▪ Patients with confirmed or suspected pneumonia who have been exposed to a new coronavirus infection;

▪ Elderly, obese, or patients with underlying heart, brain, liver, and kidney diseases such as high blood pressure and heart disease.

2. There is no absolutely safe way to travel, and protection is the most important.

3. Prepare disinfectant products such as disposable hand disinfectants, disinfectant wipes and soap before you travel.

For many viruses, contact transfer is an important transfer mode. Therefore, maintaining hand hygiene is critical. Coronavirus is not resistant to acids and alkalis and can be killed by 75% alcohol. Therefore, prepare hand-free hand disinfectants with an alcohol concentration of 75%, alcohol disinfectant wipes, etc. before you travel. Without this, a bar of soap is acceptable. Wash your hands with running water long enough.

4. Please prepare some masks before you travel.

The spray caused by coughing, speaking and sneezing are important carriers of many viruses. Cars, stations and service areas can be crowded places. Wearing a mask can effectively isolate spray and prevent infections. Don't just bring out a mask when going out. It is recommended to prepare more in case of an emergency or if the trip is too long and needs to be replaced.

5. Please prepare several plastic garbage bags or fresh bags before you travel. Bring enough garbage bags to seal up dirt while driving.

6. The substances that can effectively inactivate the new coronavirus are: ether, 75% ethanol, chlorine-containing disinfectants, peracetic acid and chloroform.

Precautions while traveling

7. Face detection when entering the train does not matter whether you remove the mask briefly. If someone near you coughs, keep your distance. The short-term process of security review doesn't matter, don't worry.

8. When traveling, try to sit on a separate seat and keep a distance of more than 1 meter from people.

The Health Committee recommends that everyone try as far as possible to sit as far apart as possible during the trip to leave room for one another. If you speak to others, please keep a distance of at least 1 meter. This is safer from 2 meters.

9. If the journey is too long and you really want to eat, please keep your distance from the cough, make a decision quickly and put the mask back on after eating.

10. When removing the mask, do not touch the outer surface of the mask.

The outer surface of the mask is a contaminated area and touching it can lead to infection. The correct method is: remove the mask through the lanyard and try not to use the mask repeatedly.

11. Do not put used masks directly in your pocket to avoid continuous contamination. The correct method is: after you have folded the mask from the inside out, put it in a plastic garbage bag or a fresh bag and close it.

12. Wash your hands frequently without touching them. Keep your hands clean.

Many people unconsciously touch their eyes, nose and mouth with their hands, which increases the risk of a viral infection. Always keep your hands clean during the trip, do not touch them and wash your hands frequently with detergents to effectively reduce the risk.

13. Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.

Rubbing and washing hands with running water and soap can effectively remove dirt and microorganisms on the surface of the skin. Please wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.

14. If there is a person in the compartment who has coughed or sneezed, make sure they are wearing a mask and are keeping their distance.

Precautions after arrival at home

15. It is recommended that shoes worn outside be placed outside the door. Or use shoeboxes and overshoes to "isolate" the shoes and place them in the porch to reduce the risk of indoor pollution.

16. It is recommended to remove the outer clothing and replace it with household clothing.

If you think the clothes are heavily soiled along the way, you can spray the clothes with 75% alcohol, then turn them inside and out and hang them on the balcony for ventilation.

17. Remove the masks as needed and throw them in the trash can.

If you think the mask is very dirty on the way, put it in a garbage bag and close it.

18. After handling masks and clothing, remember to wash and disinfect your hands.

19. Open the window and leave the house ventilated for 5-10 minutes.

Opening the window helps to refresh the indoor air and effectively reduce the amount of viruses that can be found indoors. In addition, the outside air is "diluted" and does not introduce viruses into the room.

20. After returning home, it is recommended to watch at home for a few days.

For the elderly, patients with chronic diseases, immunodeficiencies, children and other population groups, it is recommended to observe at home for a few days after returning. If you have symptoms such as increased body temperature and shortness of breath, you should consult a doctor in good time.
