For air tickets purchasing in China, there are three kinds of tickets for different ages including tickets for infants, children, and adults.

How is the age range of infant, child and adult?

Infant: children under age of 2 (excluded 2-year-old)

Child: children between age of 2 and 12 (excluded 12-year-old)

Adult: people above 12-year-old

How about the tickets charge of each group?

Infant ticket:

1) 10% price of adult ticket

2) No seat (if you want a seat for your baby, you need to buy a child ticket)

3) Each adult passenger carrying an infant, more than 1 infant need to buy children tickets for the rest ones

Child ticket:

1) 50% price of adult ticket

2) Seat offered

Note: If your child’s 12 birthday is Sept 12, and your air ticket departure date is Sept 13. Your child need to pay adult ticket, not child ticket.

Adult ticket:

1) 100% price of adult ticket
