From 20 to 21 September, Li Min, vice chairman of the provincial CPPCC, led a group to visit Hengyang for doing a research on both the implementation of the strategy on employment priority and ecological environmental protection and democratic supervision by the committee member office.

The group visited places including the Watch Town in Chuanshan Time Valley, Deyang Footwear Co. Ltd., Hunan Institute of Traffic Engineering and Hengyang Normal University. They had a field study on the environment of the business and universities and paid close attention to the companies’ demand for workers and employment situtation of college graduates.

Li Min highly recognized Hengyang government’s efforts to implement the strategy of employment priority. He called for an in-depth study of Xi's speech about employment which is of great and profound significance. He also said that we should fully aware of that employment is pivotal to people's well-being and strengthen the relationship between employment and common prosperity for all, so that we could focus on work concerning employment priority and do it well. The guarantee of the strategy needs to be strengthened and we should pay attention to key groups, key industries and key factors. We need to improve employment structure continuously to make sure the stability of employment situation. He also stressed that we should forge a synergy to advance the platform-building related to employment and strengthen the skills training so as to provide better employment services. We should better implement the arrangements to increase publicity efforts and strengthen the effective connection between personnel training and business needs so as to improve the quality of employment.

On 21 September，the Provincial CPPCC Committee Member Activity Day, Li Min visited the Hengyang Municipal CPPCC member office. He heard reports on democratic supervision in improving ecological environment. Then he visited Shigu District and Songmu Economic Development Zone for democratic supervision and ecological environmental protection. He had a field study on domestic sewage disposal and took a detailed look at green transition and upgrade of company and the disposal of solid waste and hazardous waste.

Local leaders had reports on efforts made to implement the strategy of employment priority. The local leaders, Liu Daxiang and Yan Heping, have participated in the meeting.
