On April 10th, the Development and Reform Commission of Hunan Province released the list of key construction projects for 2024, and Hengshan Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Base successfully made it onto the list.

Located in the Hengshan High-tech Zone, covering an area of over 1,600 mu (107 hectares), with a total investment of 5 billion yuan, Hengshan Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Base aims to develop the "One Main, One Special" industries, with "One Main" being intelligent manufacturing and "One Special" being new energy and new materials. This will promote comprehensive industrial upgrading in Hengshan High-tech Zone and achieve high-quality development in the park.

As the first "park within a park" development project in Hengyang City using the "PBOS mode" for market-oriented operation, the factory buildings are customized according to the needs of enterprises. Currently, 16 enterprises have signed contracts for the first phase of the project, achieving 100% investment attraction, with construction of 15 factory buildings completed and the park's road and pipeline networks finished. The land for the second phase of the project is mostly leveled, with factory construction underway. Nine enterprises have reached preliminary cooperation agreements, achieving 50% investment attraction in this area, with more than 5-6 companies visiting for inspections every week.

"We have solved many problems through market-oriented park construction, and investment attraction and project construction are proceeding simultaneously, creating the 'Hengshan Speed.' Within six months, 15 factory buildings were fully leased and delivered. The first batch of settled companies in the park is currently debugging equipment and preparing for production operation," said Tan Yanwu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hengshan County Economic Development Investment.

In recent years, Hengshan County has fully utilized its resource advantages, focusing on intelligent manufacturing, new energy, and new materials, continuously improving mechanisms, optimizing the business environment, providing good enterprise services, gradually forming a precise investment attraction "multiple effects," creating a new situation in investment attraction, and unleashing the gathering effect of "bringing in one, bringing a batch, and radiating an area." Currently, Hengshan County is closely monitoring project progress, concentrating superior resources and efforts to seize the construction period and promote factory construction with high quality, while strengthening operation and management, to truly enable enterprises to enter, stay, and develop well, and to build the park into a development highland for industrial cluster aggregation.
