On April 16th, a symposium on the joint rectification of civilized transportation in the city was held. Chen Liyang, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Wang Dongwen, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, presided over the meeting.

Since the launch of the joint action on civilized transportation in the city, the public security, traffic police, fire protection, urban management departments, as well as the four urban areas and two industrial parks, have attached great importance to ideology and taken active actions. The implementation has been carried out with speed, rectification and rectification efforts have been made, and education and law enforcement have been carried out with warmth, achieving phased results. As of now, the compliance rate of responsible intersections in the city has significantly increased, and the wearing rate of safety helmets for motorcycles and electric bicycles in urban areas has remained above 90%.

In response to the problems of frequent traffic disorder, insufficient transportation infrastructure, and weak awareness of civilized transportation, Chen Liyang demands that "people" be controlled, strict law enforcement and lenient education be implemented, pedestrian traffic violations be strictly controlled, driver traffic violations be strictly investigated, and flexible law enforcement be strictly implemented. We must control vehicles, strictly crack down on illegal vehicle dynamics, and optimize the supply of parking facilities. The "road" should be controlled, and the main and secondary roads, fire passages and tactile paving should be managed well. To control pet dogs, we need to start by strengthening publicity and education, strengthening institutional management, enhancing personal responsibility, and advocating civilized customs to solve the problem of uncivilized pet raising.

At the symposium, officials from public security, traffic police, fire protection, urban management departments, as well as relevant officials from the four urban areas and two industrial parks, made statements.
