On September 12th, Zeng Menglong, the Secretary of the District Committee, presided over a meeting to promote the work of the Strong Foundation and Capacity Building Project. Gao Bingsheng, member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee and Director of the District Committee Office, attended the meeting.

The meeting interpreted the "Training Plan for the 2024 Training Course of the Strong Foundation and Ability Enhancement Project for Young Cadres in Zhengxiang District" and deployed relevant work.

Zeng Menglong pointed out that this training course is a brand new exploration and attempt, and everyone should attach great importance to it, continuously accumulate experience, summarize, and continuously improve the basic skills of cadres in writing, speaking, and handling grassroots work. He requested that the main responsible persons of each relevant department personally deploy and organize efficient forces to independently prepare lessons and teach, supplemented by high-level lecturers to give special lectures. While teaching, they should also focus on self-learning and self-improvement. The Organization Department of the District Committee should designate a dedicated person to take charge, strengthen overall coordination and guidance, strictly require, and prevent going through the motions.

Zeng Menglong emphasized that the main leaders of the temporary party committee, temporary party branch, and learning group of the training course, as well as all trainees, should be highly responsible, cherish opportunities, actively learn, study diligently, think critically, continuously improve theoretical literacy, political literacy, comprehension ability, and work ability, and devote themselves to work with more enthusiasm and positive attitude.

It is reported that this training course will start in September 2024 and end in March 2025, with a total of 110 young cadres participating. The training will adopt a combination of intensive training and self-study, centralized teaching, communication and discussion, and achievement display, covering disciplinary education, document writing, language expression ability, public opinion response, emergency response, urban management, land acquisition and demolition, petition and public work, etc. The aim is to cultivate and build a large number of outstanding young cadres with high political literacy, strong service ability, practical work style, and strict integrity and self-discipline.
