April 15th this year is the tenth National Security Education Day for all citizens. The National Security Music Ideological and Political Course Exhibition for the 10th Anniversary of Deepening and Implementing National Security Education in Hengyang City was held at University of South China. Secretary of the municipal Party committee Liu Yuegao emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on the overall national security concept, better coordinate the two major issues of development and security, comprehensively enhance the level of national security work in the new era, and effectively guarantee high-quality development with high-level security.

Liu Yuegao said that safety is the most important aspect of a great country. Hengyang has always attached great importance to national security, and has always planned and deployed national security work together with economic and social development. We firmly implement the overall national security concept, solidly promote the construction of the national security system and social governance system, and make every effort to prevent and resolve risks and challenges in various fields, with political security as the top priority. Many of our work is at the forefront of the country and the province.

Liu Yuegao emphasized that national security is everyone's responsibility. All levels and departments in the city should deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on the overall national security concept, better coordinate the two major issues of development and security, and comprehensively enhance the level of national security work in the new era. National security commissions at all levels should strengthen leadership, enhance national security education for all, and create a strong atmosphere of jointly protecting national security throughout society. Each university should integrate national security education into daily and regular activities, accelerate the construction of national security disciplines, and make every effort to cultivate national security professionals. Young students should consciously draw strength from national security music ideological and political courses, and use practical actions to safeguard the strategic foundation of national security.

On site, a national security music ideological and political class with the theme of "hidden and great" was also held, allowing everyone to receive national security education in the red audio-visual feast and promoting the national security concept to deeply penetrate people's hearts.
