The Army Day on August 1st is approaching. From July 10 to 11, Liu Yuegao, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, led a delegation of the Party, government, and military of Hengyang City to visit and comfort all the officers and soldiers of the Hengyang Navy ship in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, and sent them holiday blessings.

Inside the military port, the silver-gray Hengyang warship stands tall, with officials and soldiers on board full of energy, welcoming their loved ones from their "second hometown". On the afternoon of July 10th, Liu Yuegao boarded the Hengyang ship accompanied by Liu Xiao'an, the deputy political commissar of a naval detachment in the Southern Theater Command.

At the solemn condolence ceremony, Liu Yuegao, on behalf of the Hengyang Municipal Party Committee, Municipal People's Congress, Municipal Government, Municipal Political Consultative Conference, Hengyang Garrison District, and the people of the whole city, paid high respect and holiday greetings to all the officers and soldiers of the Hengyang ship, and introduced the achievements of Hengyang's economic and social development.

Liu Yuegao said that Hengyang is a city of red revolution and heroes, and the Hengyang ship is a beautiful business card of Hengyang. Generation after generation of officers and soldiers of the Hengyang warship have regarded Hengyang as their hometown and passed on the story of Hengyang to the world. We are deeply proud of this.

Liu Yuegao stated that in recent years, Hengyang has deeply implemented the development strategy of "building the city with manufacturing and revitalizing the city with culture and tourism", accelerated the process of regional centralization, and firmly shouldered the responsibility of "building the city with manufacturing and revitalizing the city with culture and tourism". It has achieved outstanding results in "building the city with manufacturing and revitalizing the city with culture and tourism", written the era's answer sheet of "putting the people first and people's livelihood first", and polished the golden signboard of "dual support and joint construction, deep fish and water relationship". On the morning of July 11th, Liu Yuegao and his delegation also participated in a series of military day activities on the Hengyang ship, watching and experiencing related military project exhibitions.
