On July 10, Wu Shuguang, Chairman of the CPPCC Hengyang Municipal Committee, visited the Hengyang Municipal Postal Company to assess the development of the logistics sector. He emphasized the importance of aligning efforts with the goals of high-quality development, fully upholding the original aspiration and mission of “People’s Post Serving the People,” conscientiously fulfilling the responsibilities of state-owned enterprises, and making greater contributions to facilitating local economic circulation and serving public well-being.

Wu Shuguang conducted in-depth field visits to several key facilities, including the Huayuan Community Group-Buying Warehousing and Distribution Center, the Songmutang Postal Hub New District, and the Rural Revitalization Consumption Assistance Hall. He gained a detailed understanding of the company’s warehousing layout in Hengyang, the development of its delivery logistics system, the progress of its mail processing center project, and its initiatives to support rural revitalization. He called for continuous optimization of the postal logistics network layout, improvements in intelligent warehousing and distribution capabilities, and stronger integration of urban and rural logistics to ensure more precise and efficient services benefiting the public.

At a subsequent discussion session, Wu Shuguang listened attentively to reports on the work and progress of Hengyang Postal. He fully affirmed the company’s achievements in leveraging its networks, channels, and platforms to actively support local economic development and advance rural revitalization. He noted that as a “national team” within the logistics industry, the postal service carries with it generations of fond memories.
