On the afternoon of September 4, Zhu Jian, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Municipal Committee and Mayor, met with Ding Jianhua, Party Secretary of Sinopec Hunan Petroleum Branch, and his delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on further deepening cooperation.

Zhu Jian welcomed Ding Jianhua and his delegation and expressed gratitude for the company’s long-standing attention and support for Hengyang’s development. He noted that Hengyang is currently at a critical stage of green transition and industrial upgrading, and expressed the hope that both sides would leverage their respective strengths to deepen cooperation. Hengyang will make every effort to support Sinopec in integrating resources in the city, exploring the integrated development of hydrogen energy, new energy, and traditional energy, and advancing projects such as comprehensive energy service stations, so as to accelerate the building of a green and low-carbon energy system in Hengyang. At the same time, he expressed the hope that Sinopec would bring into play its central enterprise channel advantages, incorporate “Hengyang Products Going Global” into the “Easy Joy” consumer network, and help local specialty industries gain access to broader markets.

On behalf of Sinopec Hunan Petroleum Branch, Ding Jianhua expressed appreciation to the CPC Hengyang Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government for their long-term support, and introduced the company’s development strategy and business layout. He noted that Hengyang has achieved remarkable results and witnessed significant changes in recent years along the path of high-quality development. Based on its own advantages, the company will accelerate its transformation of “stabilizing oil, expanding gas, increasing electricity, developing hydrogen, and strengthening services,” especially in areas such as hydrogen energy application and its integration with existing energy networks. Through deepened cooperation with Hengyang, building platforms, tapping potential, and expanding fields, the company will inject stronger momentum into the city’s high-quality development.
