On the afternoon of September 11, Zhu Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, chaired a city-wide economic operation analysis meeting for the third quarter. The meeting conducted a comprehensive review of the current development situation and outlined key tasks for the next phase, aiming to chart a clear direction and mobilize collective efforts to ensure the successful achievement of annual targets.

During the meeting, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Municipal Bureau of Statistics presented reports on the city's economic performance from January to August, along with their plans for the upcoming period. The Municipal Finance Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and the Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development each provided updates on their respective areas of responsibility.

Zhu Jian delivered a keynote speech, in which he pointed out that since the beginning of the year, the city has remained steadfast in implementing the "Three Highs and Four New" development blueprint, actively advancing the strategy of strengthening the city through manufacturing and revitalizing it through culture and tourism. The city has fully promoted the "Seven Major Offensives," resulting in steady growth in production and demand, continuous improvement in the quality and efficiency of development, and a stable and positive trend in overall economic performance. At the same time, Zhu Jian emphasized the need to clearly recognize existing challenges and weaknesses in development, adopt a problem-oriented approach, implement targeted policies, and make every effort to accelerate progress in the third quarter to ensure the fulfillment of annual objectives.

Zhu Jian further stressed the importance of clarifying development goals, aligning ideological understanding, and fully integrating actions with the decisions and plans of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. He urged all departments to act with a strong sense of urgency and responsibility, effectively implement all tasks, strengthen coordination, consolidate development support, focus on cultivating and breaking through "above-scale" enterprises, and continue to advance the "delivering policies, resolving difficulties, and optimizing services" special campaign. He called for full support for key enterprises to achieve "doubling in place" and capacity expansion. He also emphasized the need to accelerate the construction of major projects, enhance resource guarantees, and intensify schedule coordination. Priority should be given to the main battlefield of park development to promote industrial clustering and large-scale development. Efforts should continue to be made in investment promotion, including the formulation of a key project list, strengthening interdepartmental collaboration, and improving the effectiveness of investment attraction. High-quality statistical services should be provided to support high-quality development, expanding statistical coverage and continuously improving data quality. Measures should also be taken to resolve overdue payments to enterprises, ensure the delivery of real estate projects and repayment of funds, and adopt multiple strategies to promote the stable recovery of the catering industry.

Zhu Jian emphasized that all levels of government and departments across the city must uphold a pragmatic and truth-seeking work style, devote themselves to studying economic laws, and focus on meticulous coordination. Concrete actions should be taken to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of economic operations. As a major economic hub, the city should take on greater responsibility and contribute more to the high-quality development of the provincial economy.
