Zhang Jian visited Hengyang to oversee the preparatory arrangements for the 12th Global Forum For Hunan Entrepreneurs, and Zhu Jian attended the meeting

On the morning of September 16, Zhang Jian, Vice Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and President of the Hunan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce (HFIC), visited Hengyang to oversee preparatory arrangements for the 12th Global Hunan Businessmen Conference. Zhu Jian attended the inspection and symposium.

Zhang Jian and his delegation conducted an on-site review of venue preparations and held a symposium to hear comprehensive reports from Hengyang Municipal Government on conference-related work. They commended the city's early-stage preparatory efforts as thorough, well-coordinated, and highly effective. Specifically, under the strong leadership of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and People's Government—and with centralized guidance from the Conference Organizing Committee—the Hengyang Municipal Party Committee and Government have assumed their responsibilities proactively; municipal departments have collaborated cohesively; organizational leadership across all tasks has been precise and efficient; guest invitation efforts have achieved broad coverage and high engagement; investment promotion initiatives have been substantively advanced; and logistical arrangements have progressed steadily and systematically. As a result, a robust, integrated, and operationally efficient coordination mechanism has taken shape.

Zhang Jian emphasized that all efforts must now be concentrated to ensure the conference is conducted safely, smoothly, impressively, and flawlessly. To this end, he outlined four key priorities:

First, guest reception services must be meticulously organized. The "one-on-one" service protocol shall be strictly implemented, with standardized, personalized, and end-to-end service procedures designed to convey both the warmth of hometown hospitality and Hunan's openness and sincerity.

Second, conference operations require further refinement. All arrangements—including venue design and decoration, accommodation and catering, transportation logistics, publicity strategies, and media coverage—must be rigorously cross-checked against the master implementation plan to identify and eliminate any gaps or oversights.

Third, security and safeguarding measures must be rigorously enforced. A risk-based, bottom-line mindset shall guide all planning and execution: clear accountability must be assigned for each security domain; preventive and responsive measures must be fully deployed; emergency response plans must be comprehensively formulated, updated, and validated through realistic drills; and interdepartmental coordination must be seamless to guarantee holistic safety assurance.

Fourth, responsibility implementation must be strengthened at all levels. Vertical coordination between provincial and municipal authorities must be enhanced; the HFIC will mobilize its strongest professional resources; and Hengyang, as the host city, must unequivocally shoulder primary operational responsibility—conducting itemized verification and execution of every task on the official action list, intensifying final-phase efforts, and elevating the 12th Global Forum For Hunan Entrepreneurs into a distinctive, benchmark-setting, thoroughly prepared, and unifying event that inspires confidence and consolidates consensus.

Zhu Jian underscored that the conference has entered its critical countdown and final sprint phase. The Hengyang Municipal Party Committee and People's Government have designated conference preparation as the top administrative priority. The entire city will align resources, coordinate actions, and leverage this platform to deepen engagement with Hunan entrepreneurs nationwide—thereby contributing meaningfully to Hunan's high-quality development.

Prior to the symposium, Zhu Jian conducted an in-depth, section-by-section supervision of preparatory progress across 12 functional areas. He stressed the need to further strengthen the core task force mechanism; to develop a high-caliber, operationally practical "Conference Service Manual"; and to adopt an integrated "line-and-block" governance approach—setting unified standards at the functional line level while ensuring rigorous implementation at the territorial block level—to guarantee full, precise, and sustained execution of all assigned tasks, thereby fulfilling the trust and expectations of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and People's Government.

The symposium was chaired by Mr. Xie Shangwen, President of the HFIC and Vice President of the Federation. Mr. Liu Ping, Deputy Secretary of the Hengyang Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, delivered the official work report. Also in attendance were Municipal Leaders Xie Hong, Jiang Tao, Wu Lesheng, Wang Jing, and Fu Ping.
