On September 26th, before the opening of the 13th Party Congress of Hengyang City, the Secretary of the municipal party committee Zhu Jian and the mayor of the municipal government Liu Zhongjie visited the representatives of the congress and extended warm greetings and earnest expectations to them. The two highest leaders hoped all representatives can unite and brainstorm together to draw a blueprint for the development of Hengyang in the next five years. The delegates were expected to seriously fulfill their duties and responsibilities, successfully complete all the established tasks of the conference, and work together to make the Party Congress an inspiring, united, opening and encouraging conference.

During each visit, Zhu Jian had cordial exchanges with delegates, thanking everyone for their long-term positive contributions to the economic and social development of Hengyang in their respective positions. He pointed out that the 12th Global Hunan Businessmen Conference, which was just held with high standards and high quality, was a wonderful event that was praised by the provincial party committee and government, satisfied Hunan businesses, and recognized by the people. The 13th Party Congress of Hengyang City is a very important meeting held at the beginning of the 15th Five Year Plan. It is a major event in the political life of all Party members and people in the city, and has significant importance in consolidating efforts to promote high-quality development of Hengyang during the 15th Five Year Plan and accelerate the construction of a national key city and a provincial sub center city. The conference has a tight schedule, multiple agendas, and heavy tasks. We hope that all representatives will devote themselves to each agenda with full spirit to ensure the smooth and successful progress of each stage.

Zhu Jian put forward three hopes and requirements to the representatives: firstly, we should gather consensus through brainstorming and carefully review the work report. Based on job responsibilities, closely following industry realities, reflecting grassroots expectations, and providing wise words and practical strategies, the report will truly become a guiding document that consolidates consensus, conforms to historical development trends, fits the reality of Hengyang, responds to the common expectations of the people of the city, and leads high-quality development in the next five years. Secondly, we must fulfill our duties and responsibilities, and cast a holy vote. We should raise political stance, enhance overall awareness, and successfully complete all established tasks of the conference. We must strictly abide by discipline and maintain a clean and upright atmosphere during the conference, to create a good atmosphere of unity, harmony, and positivity together.

The attending representatives expressed that they will firmly shoulder their political responsibilities, fulfill their duties conscientiously, strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the conference, actively provide suggestions and advice, resolutely complete the various tasks of the conference, and try to satisfy the trust of the Party and the people.
