On the afternoon of October 15, Liu Zhongjie, deputy secretary of the CPC Hengyang Municipal Committee and mayor of Hengyang, met with a delegation led by Zhang Man, Party Committee secretary and chairman of Bank of Changsha. The two sides held in-depth discussions on expanding financial cooperation across multiple sectors, strengthening financial support for industry, and promoting Hengyang’s high-quality development.

Liu thanked Bank of Changsha for its longstanding contributions to Hengyang’s economic and social development. He expressed hope that the two sides would deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, align their efforts with Hengyang’s strategy of strengthening the city through manufacturing and revitalizing it through culture and tourism, and accelerate the development of a modern industrial system under the strategy of “stabilizing five key industries, accelerating the growth of three emerging sectors, and laying the groundwork for two future-oriented industries.”

He called on the bank to develop tailored financial products to meet the needs of the city’s key industries, major projects and market entities, expand the range of financial service applications, and proactively respond to the needs of emerging industries, new business models and new enterprises. Hengyang will continue to improve its financial ecosystem, strengthen support services, and fully support Bank of Changsha in expanding its presence in the city, working together to achieve mutually beneficial cooperation between the government and the bank.

Zhang thanked the Hengyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for their support for the bank’s operations in Hengyang. She outlined the bank’s business presence and operations in the city, adding that Bank of Changsha would continue to deepen its presence in the local market, leverage its financial resources, expand cooperation opportunities, and innovate in financial products and services.
