On the afternoon of October 26, Hengyang held a summary meeting for the 12th Global Hunan Business Conference. The meeting reviewed and summarized the conference work, commended advanced models, systematically refined the experience gained in organizing the event, and made solid arrangements for the follow-up work, so as to effectively transform the strong momentum gathered at the conference into a powerful driving force for high-quality development in Hengyang. Zhu Jian, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Liu Zhongjie, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

Zhu Jian emphasized that the experience gained from this conference is extremely valuable and must be carefully reviewed, summarized, and improved. Guidance from the province provides important support; it is necessary to be good at coordination and proactive solicitation, and to turn the concern and guidance of higher-level authorities into supportive policies and development resources for hosting events and conducting work. High-level coordination is the fundamental guarantee. To successfully host major events, it is necessary to set high work standards and refine every detail so that the event achieves great success and good things shine. Only by working together in the same direction, both internally and externally, can we unite people's hearts, gather strength, accomplish major issues affecting the overall situation, and overcome difficulties hindering development.

Liu Zhongjie pointed out that Hengyang is currently in a critical stage of building a national regional key city and a provincial sub-center city.
