The final of the Fourth National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition for Veterans was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, from October 28 to 29. Hunan Dingyi Intelligent Manufacturing Digital Equipment Technology Development Co., Ltd., a veteran-led enterprise from Hengyang and one of four teams representing Hunan Province, won first prize nationwide with its project, “Key Technologies and Applications for the Industrialization of Green Digital Sublimation Printing.” The award marks a historic breakthrough for Hengyang in the national competition and is the only first prize won by Hunan Province at this year’s event.
Under the theme “Leading the Wave of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Showcasing the Spirit of Veterans,” the competition attracted more than 3,700 business entities and over 46,000 veterans. Following several rounds of selection, 134 projects advanced to the national final. Hengyang’s team delivered a strong performance, demonstrating through its project presentation the company’s independent R & D capabilities. The project has overcome foreign technological barriers and market monopolies, achieving full domestic production across the entire printing technology industry chain.
Since the competition was launched in June, the Hengyang Municipal Bureau of Veterans Affairs has actively identified and mobilized eligible enterprises to participate. After four months of training and practice, the company progressed through the municipal and provincial rounds before reaching the national final and securing the award.
The bureau will continue to improve its services and support veterans in employment, entrepreneurship and innovation, promoting higher-quality development in these areas and further enhancing veterans’ sense of fulfillment, well-being and honor.
