Excellent works of Mass Cultural Activities of the 8th Hunan Arts Festival were showcased at the Hengyang Culture and Arts Center of Hengyang City on the evening of August 31.

This performance is divided into three chapters. These works have rich themes and diverse forms, embodying the Chinese spirit, characteristics of the times, and the charm of Hunan.

The Mass Cultural Activities of the 8th Hunan Art Festival have been launched since May this year. The finals of outstanding works for the “Star Award in Hunan”, and the excellent mass cultural works tour performance were held in Hengyang City from August 21 to 31, attracting artists and art groups provincewide.

A series of outstanding works covering music, dances, drama, quyi, children’s programs, choral performances, and square dancing enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the masses.

During the festival, multidimensional and comprehensive news reports were made, and such reports made the hot list for many times, with a total page views exceeding 100 million. An audience of 33 million were benefited online and offline.
