Nanyueli in Hengyang City, a key observation project of the 3rd Hunan Tourism Development Conference, will open on September 14 to bring visitors a unique temple fair cultural experience.

As a highlight of Jinyue Lake Scenic Area, Nanyueli covers an area of 80 mu (about 5.33 hectares) with a total investment of 130 million yuan. This project, relying on the local culture and unique residential style of Nanyue, will create a bustling scene of the ancient-style market.

It integrates multiple tourism forms such as Nanyue specialty snacks, high-end courtyard catering, Nanyue’s waterfront homestay inns, outdoor camping and leisure, local cultural experience, and dreamy water performances.

Nanyue Temple Fair Folk Street will begin its soft opening on September 14, bringing tourists a series of exciting temple fair cultural experiences, folk performances, and authentic specialty snacks.

In order to allow tourists to experience the cultural essence of the Mount Heng Temple Fair in Nanyueli, the temple fair activities will be held every day. At that time, tourists will enjoy a series of colorful performances, including acrobatics, dances, and face changing.

Mount Heng, as a holy site for the Fire God Zhurong, is the only place in China where people spontaneously worship the Fire God. The Nanyueli project showcases the culture of the Fire God through modern art forms and plans a series of regular folk performance activities like the molten iron fireworks show and wind-fire wheels to make audience immersed in the unique charm of the Fire God culture.
