On March 7 ^th, along the newly-built concrete road, the journalist came to Lijing Village of Changning City. As he walked in the vast field, what appeared in the sight were thousands of people farming in lines and ridges of golden cole flowers shining under the sun.

 

Lijing Village is an important tobacco village in Changning City. Ever since 2008 when the local government began to popularize tobacco planting, every family in the village has been engaged in tobacco planting.  

 

“In 2008, this first year of our planting of tobacco, there were only dozens of mu’s tobacco field, however, by 2011, that in our village has increased to more than 400 mu. Tobacco has brought to us new benefit and new life.” said the director of the village, with big smiles in his face.

 

Walking on in the battlefield of spring ploughing, the journalist’s attention was caught by verdure in the remote hills. The director told the journalist, those are camellia which has been famous all over the whole country. Ever since last year, the village has cultivated 2,000 mu’s camellia and newly reclaimed 2433 mu. And we are working towards a high aim.
