Employers shall apply for social insurance enrollment registration of eligible employees for basic pension insurance, basic medical insurance (including maternity insurance), work injury insurance and unemployment insurance in cases of new recruitment, internal transfer, enterprise merger and other circumstances. Age restrictions shall be applied accordingly.

List of Application Materials

1. Work Permit Notice or electronic social security card, and electronic work permit information.

2. Official letter issued by the employing entity(original edition).

3. Valid visa or residence permit held by the applicant, including the visa page, entry stamp page and residence permit information page of the passport or international travel document(original edition; electronic edition of the original; copy).

4. Application Form for Foreigner Work Permit in China(original edition; electronic edition of the original; copy). Complete and print it online, get it signed by the applicant, affix the official seal of the employing entity or its authorized department, then upload the scanned copy to the system.
