For application of intermediate and junior professional titles, consult the human resources and social security department where the labor relationship is registered.

List of Application Materials

1. Application Form for Amendment of Foreigner Work Permit in China(original edition; electronic edition of the original; copy). Fill in and print online, sign by the applicant and affix the official seal of the employing entity, then upload it to the system.

2. Professional Title Evaluation Form and all required application documents(original edition; electronic edition of the original; copy). The application materials consist of qualification review documents and performance evaluation documents. (For details, refer to the column of form download on the official website of Hunan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security — 2025 Version of Hunan Professional Title Forms — Catalogue of Qualification Review Documents and Catalogue of Performance Evaluation Documents). Qualification review documents shall be submitted online after real-name signature and official stamping as required by scanning, and no paper copies are needed. Performance evaluation documents shall be submitted offline without online declaration.

3. Passports or other international travel documents of accompanying family members(original edition). Submit copies of the personal information page, valid visa page and latest entry stamp page. If the entry stamp is affixed on an old passport or other travel documents, a copy of its personal information page shall also be provided.

4. Official letter issued by the employing entity of the visited person(original edition).
