In recent years, the Shigu District Political Consultative Conference has been focusing on the overall requirements of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference's "1453" performance, deepened the construction of committee member studios, established a new platform for effectively managing and utilizing committee members to perform their duties, promoted the extension of the CPPCC's performance to grassroots level, approached the masses, and transformed towards implementation, and opened up the "last mile" of committee members contacting and serving the people.

                                  Build a strong performance platform and transform from meeting performance to social performance

In September of this year, members of the Political Consultative Conference of the Cultural, Educational, Health, and Sports Sectors in Shigu District conducted a special research activity on the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanhua University and Shigu District Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedic Hospital to build a medical regional center in southern Hunan. The committee members discussed issues such as building a medical regional center and hospital infrastructure construction based on what they saw, heard, and experienced.

Zhou Wenyuan, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the Shigu District Political Consultative Conference, told reporters that in recent years, the district political consultative conference has taken promoting various town (street) CPPCC member studios and sector activities as a driving force to enhance the sense of belonging of members, increase the frequency of member performance activities, and continuously expand the participation of members in their performance.

It is worth mentioning that the Shigu Political Consultative Conference is the first in the city to achieve full coverage of town and street committee studios. At present, there are a total of 9 CPPCC member studios (1 sector committee member studio and 8 town and street committee member studios), with 158 members settled in. Each CPPCC member studio combines the needs of the party and government with the expectations of the people, showcases their abilities and strengths, and focuses on creating a "one room, one product". For example, the CPPCC member studio in Huangshawan Street focuses on rural revitalization, the CPPCC member studio in Jinyuan Street focuses on serving the development of enterprises, and the CPPCC member studio in Hejiang Street collects social sentiment and public opinion to speak out for the people.
