On the morning of June 29th, the square of Hengyang Sports Center was adorned with colorful flags and resounded with the beat of drums and gongs as the 15th Hunan Provincial National Fitness Festival grandly opened amidst jubilation. Themed "Scientific Fitness, Happy Hengyang," the sports event attracted nearly 2,000 participants including leaders from provincial, municipal, and district levels, fitness enthusiasts, and the public.

The opening ceremony kicked off with a thunderous drum performance of "Racing Horses," followed by spectacular dragon and lion dances, dynamic fitness ball exercises, and an enthusiastic chorus of "Ode to the Motherland," igniting the passion for sports among all leaders, participants, and spectators in the main venue area.

Following the ceremony, various events commenced including the Hunan Provincial Fitness and Bodybuilding Competition, and the 5th Hunan Shuttlecock Championship, where fitness enthusiasts from across the province showcased their skills, enjoying the beauty of sports and the pleasure of fitness, presenting a splendid visual feast of national fitness for the audience.

The Hunan Provincial National Fitness Festival is a significant event for sports and national fitness activities in Hunan Province, known for its highest standards and comprehensive competition formats. Organized by the Hunan Provincial Sports Bureau and the People's Government of Hengyang City, the festival will continue until December, featuring events such as camping conventions, sports dances, street dances, chess, shuttlecock, Sudoku championships, among others, with an expected total participation of nearly 60,000 people.
