At the Caokou Weir Reservoir in Qidong County, Liu Yuegao climbed onto the dam to inspect the situation of risk prevention and reinforcement of the reservoir, and visited and comforted the staff on duty, discussing and exchanging views with them, and learning in detail about hydrological meteorology, protection of drinking water sources, and implementation of reservoir safety measures. He emphasized that the current situation of rainfall and flood remains severe and complex, requiring strict duty, strengthening security protection of important water conservancy infrastructure, and intensifying inspections and risk removal of disaster hazards. All levels of departments should strengthen coordination and linkage to form a cohesive effort vertically and horizontally, ensuring safe flood passage.
