Yanfeng blessed Terra is one of the most innovative local dishes in Hengyang, produced by Wang Ming Xuan Restaurant, which is located near the first peak of NanYue, usually called Yanfeng. The dish is also named as “Live Braised Hoof”. In China, pigs stand for blessing, and pigs’ hoofs are the partial tone of terra. It suggests ingeniously that Hengyang is the live pig production base. The natural taste and golden color are the typical features of the dish.
