Hengyang is a famous city, which is known for its anti-Japanese culture. According to legend, the geese from the North stop and linger in Hengyang. Therefore, Hengyang has got another elegant name “the city of geese”. Lingering geese in smooth sands is one of Hengyang eight landscapes. Now it becomes the name of a famous dish which is listed as one of the most special dishes of Hengyang. The main raw material used in the dish is a local Hunan yellow chicken, slaughtered and then boiled by the slow fire. It is delicious because of the fragrant, spicy, sour, fresh flavor in it. It is popular because of the effect of maintaining beauty and keeping healthy.
