Affiliated Nanhua Hospital of University of South China is located at No. 336 Dongfeng South Road, Hengyang City, Hunan Province. It was founded in 1958 and covers an area of over 370 acres. It is a three-level comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, preventive health care, teaching, and research. It is a directly affiliated hospital of Nanhua University and a designated hospital for medical insurance in Hengyang City. It has been repeatedly honored as "Top Ten Hospitals", "Civilized and High-Quality Service Hospital", "Model Unit of Political and Administrative Conduct", and "People's Trustworthy Hospital for Clear and Transparent Medical Treatment".

In July 2021, the Party Committee of Affiliated Nanhua Hospital of University of South China was awarded the title of Advanced Base Party Organization in the Education System of Hunan Province. On September 1, 2022, Dr. Zhang Yi from the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Department of Nanhua University Affiliated Nanhua Hospital officially opened his outpatient clinic.
