Xijiang River rafting is located in Changning, Hengyang, with reputations of “No. 1 rafting in Yaoxiang of China” and “No. 1 rafting in Hunan Province”. It is 86 kilometers away from the urban district of Hengyang in Hunan in the north and adjacent to Henggui Expressway in the east. Xijiang River originates from Tiantang Mountain, which is 1265 meters above sea level. The rafting starts from Wanmuyuan in Xijiang village, and ends in Puzhuyuan in Puzhu village. The whole journey is 10 kilometers and lasts more than 2 hours, through Lancai slope, Xijiangkou, Shexingwan, Jianbao Mountain and other scenic spots. The terrain is very steep, with a drop of 150 meters.
