Hua Yan Lake, also called Nanyue Water Reservoir, is a wonderful tourist destination because of the broad lake, winding boundline, dense forests and meadow, and the high mountain surrounding there. The dam there in the lake is 266 meters high and 83 meters long, which is very magnificent and under which is a pond named Luo Si Pound. The pond got its name from the threadlike shape of the water overflowing onto the rock patch from the pond. On the pond is a pavilion there named Luo Si Pavilion, where is the best place for sightseeing the waterfall in spring when it rains a lot and the water in the pond would rise.
