
Xijiang Rafting is located in Changning City, Hengyang City, enjoying the reputations of "No.1 Rafting in China’s Yao Township" and "No.1 Rafting in Hunan".
It is 86 kilometers south of downtown Hengyang, Hunan Province, and adjacent to the Hengyang–Guilin Expressway on the east. The Xijiang River originates from Tiantang Mountain within the territory, with an altitude of 1,265 meters.
The rafting route starts at Wanmuyuan in Xijiang Village and ends at Puzhuyuan in Puzhu Village, passing scenic spots such as Lancai Slope, Xijiang Estuary, Snake Bend and Jianbao Mountain. The whole course stretches 10 kilometers and takes more than two hours to drift. With dangerous shoals, swift bends and a total drop of up to 150 meters, it offers thrilling rafting experience.
